This data privacy statement applies to the two websites, www.la-well.de and www.elvi.de . The browser-based software elVi® ( https://visite.elvi.de ) is not affected by this statement since it involves one’s own web application.
We, La-Well Systems GmbH, located at Haßkampstraße 75, 32257 (hereafter referred to as “La-Well”), are pleased about your visit to our internet site and your interest in our company as well as our products and services. The protection of your personal data is a very important concern to us and we would like you to feel safe during your visit to our internet site. In the rest of this document, we will be presenting to you what information we will be capturing at La-Well during your visit to our internet pages and how it will be used.
This data privacy statement applies to the web pages of La-Well Systems GmbH. It does not apply to possible links that are connected to outside companies.
Personal data are particulars about the personal or factual relationships of a defined or determinable natural person. Included is such information as your name, your address, and your telephone number. Information that is not directly associated with your real-life identity — such as preferred internet pages or number of users of a page — are not personal data.
Capture and processing of personal data
If you visit our internet pages, our web servers routinely store the connection details of the requesting computer temporarily for purposes of system security, the web pages of ours that you are visiting, the date and duration of the visit, the identification data of the browser used and the operating system type as well as the website from which you are visiting us. The additional personal information like your name, address, telephone number or e-mail address are not captured unless these disclosures were made by you voluntarily, e.g. in the course of a registration, a survey, to execute a contract or to request information.
Use and forwarding of personal data
We will use the personal data made available by you exclusively for the technical administration of the web pages and fulfill your wishes and demands — in other words, as a rule, to implement the contract we have concluded with you or to respond to your inquiry. Only if you have conveyed your consent or if you — to the extent legal regulations permit this — have not offered an objection, we will use these data also for product-related surveys and marketing purposes.
The duration of the storage of these data depends on their intended use. We will store contractual data only as long as is necessary for the fulfillment of the contractual relationship (we will always inform you about the particulars when the contract is concluded) or we are legally obliged to do so. We will keep data that were collected and processed on the basis of your consent only as long as your consent remains effective.
Forwarding, sale or other transmission of your personal data to third parties will not occur unless this is necessary for the purpose of contract fulfillment or you have expressly consented to it. In other words, it can be necessary for us to pass on your address and order data to our distribution partners. The recipients of these data will be identified to you in the order confirmation.
Information from the Group
La-Well, as a CGM company, would gladly get in touch with you in order to inform you about offers and other news about our products and services. If you register on our internet page, we will therefore ask you to tell us whether you would like to receive direct advertising messages from us.
„Cookies“ are small files that make it possible for us to store specific information related to you, the user on your PC while you are visiting one of our websites. Cookies help us to determine the frequency of use and the number of users of our internet pages as well as to configure our offerings for you as conveniently and efficiently as possible. The reason for using cookies lies in being able to offer you optimal user guidance as well as to “recognize” you upon your return and to be able to present to you varied internet pages and new content upon each return. The content of a cookie is limited to an identification number. Name, IP address, etc. are not stored. Building an individual profile about your user behavior is not done.
It is also possible to make use of our offerings without cookies. You can deactivate the storage of cookies in your browser, limit it to specific websites or set your browser in such a way that it notifies you as soon as a cookie is sent. Google Analytics web analysis service
The internet platform, www.elvi.de uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (hereafter referred to as “Google”).
Google Analytics uses so-called cookies, text files that are stored on the user’s computer and that make it possible to analyze the use of the internet platform. The information gained from the cookie about the use of the internet platforms will as a rule, be transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information in order to evaluate the use of La-Well Systems GmbH’s platforms, assemble reports on website activities for La-Well Systems GmbH, and deliver additional services related to the use of the website and the internet for purposes of market research and need-based configuration of the internet platforms.
The IP address transmitted by the user’s browser in connection with Google Analytics will not be conflated with other data by Google.
The storage of the cookies can be prevented by an appropriate setting of the browser software. However, La-Well Systems GmbH points out that in this case, the user will not be able to fully utilize all of the functions of the internet platform.
Similarly, the capture of the data generated by the cookie and related to the use of the internet platform (including the IP address of the user) and the processing of this data by Google can be prevented if the user downloads and installs the browser plug-in available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de .

Referrals to external internet pages (links)
We, La-Well, as operator of the website, have no influence on the configuration as to content of the linked external websites. These were carefully checked before the links were activated. However one cannot rule out the possibility that the operators of the respective pages subsequently undertook changes in content that violate current law or our philosophy.
Links to external websites that are shown on our website can, if applicable, collect user data if you click on them or otherwise follow their instructions. We have no control over the data that are gathered, willingly or not, via the ads or websites of third parties. In general, we recommend looking at the data privacy provisions (“privacy policies”) of websites, if you have concerns about the gathering and use of their data.
La-Well meets all necessary technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data from loss or misuse. Thus, your data will be stored in a secure operational environment that is not accessible to the public. In certain cases, your personal data will be encrypted during transmission through so-called Secure Socket Layer technology (SSL). That means that communications between your computer and La-Well’s servers will take place using a recognized encryption procedure, as long as your browser supports SSL. Should you wish to contact La-Well by e-mail, note that the confidentiality of the transmitted information cannot be ensured. The content of e-mails can be looked at by third parties. We therefore recommend having confidential information sent to us exclusively via postal mail.
You have the right to information about the data stored under your name as well as rights to correct, limit the processing of, contradict, or delete these data as well as have them put into transferable form.
If you convey your consent to La-Well Systems GmbH, you have the right to revoke it at any time with effect going forward. We commit ourselves to delete all data collected on you. However, in so doing, we are legally obligated to abide by possible commercial or tax-related retention periods that could prevent an immediate deletion of these data. If these reasons affect the deletion, we will inform you.
In addition, you have the right to complain to the data privacy regulatory authority if you are of the opinion that we are not processing your personal data correctly.
Changes to this data privacy statement
Please note that this data privacy statement can be extended or changed from time to time. Every version of this data privacy statement can be identified by means of its date and version status at the bottom of the data privacy statement. In addition, we are archiving all earlier versions of these data privacy statements for your inspection upon request.
